information
- Pika Wiya's
Board of Management members are appointed by the Minister for
Health. We have 8 Aboriginal community members who are
appointed for a 3 year term, 1 staff member who is appointed for
a 2 year term, and the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) represented
on this committee.
- A video produced in the 1990's
called "Everybody's Kids" depicts 3 stories about
Child Protection and runs for a duration of 24 minutes.
This video can be purchased from Pika Wiya for $35.00 (includes
postage anywhere in Australia).
- Our conference room can be hired
for a small fee, and you are able to book this room by
contacting Pika Wiya Administration.
- If you would like a copy of the
Aboriginal Health Worker Medicines / Pharmacy Lectures CD-Rom
produced in conjunction with the Port Augusta Hospital, just
contact Angela Russell at Pika Wiya Health Service. The CD-Rom is a
facilitators edition and is for use by pharmacists, doctors and
nurses.
